Are there any websites that actually pay you to do online free surveys?

Anybody familiar with online surveys that will pay you? R they scams or legitimate? NE good websites?

Most of the free surveys R alright like Greenfield & UR two cents but they do not pay a lot of money .the biggest check I got was $35.00 in one month.

I do on-line surveys and they are legit.. one of the companies is called web perspectives (Canadian based)http://www.webperspectives.ca/ and the other is Global Test Market (USA based)http://www.globaltestmarket.com/ I don't actually get paid for my time, but I gain points for every survey I complete and I get get stuff... I also can do product testing when invited to do so (depending on the survey I am offered) and on occasion I get paid (usually $10.00 by cheque or a gift certificate to somewhere like Chapters) I have never had to pay them or do anything out of the ordinary (like sign up for offers) HTH
