How do you get Google to recognise your website links?

I'm having problems getting Google to recognise my website links can anyone tell me why?

Under <head> on your meta content, add google. Or register your site to it.

Have you requested a spider crawl? If not, dig thru the google help menu for the google spider. When you find it there is a place where you can request that they send their spider to your site. If you haven't dont that... it helped my site (below).
