Why waste money on getting fliers printed and on postage? Start an email list with your customers. Use an autoresponder to keep in touch with them. You can send out mass mailings at specified times and specified intervals. You can even write them up several weeks in advance and have them go out when you specify. You could send out an email to notify them about a special "one week only" sale, etc. I know a woman who owns a salon and she keeps in touch with her customers this way. Go to the library and ask to use the reverse directory. Find the street in your city that is in one of the richest neighborhoods. Go to the grocery store and buy small brown lunch bags. Hand write the mailing address and your return address on the bags and mail them to the people on your selected street.
