Does the Republican Party want McCain to lose the November election?

In the general election, will America vote for McCain because they don't want a woman or a minority as Pres.?

You're the ones bringing race and gender into it.

i think its about time to have a woman of any color as president, or an african american guy or hispanic or whatever. but... just not those 2. i'm a woman and i cant stand hillary. and obama is as qualified as my dog is. i dont really like mcCain either, but what option do i have? *sigh*

I won't vote for McCain because I don't want MCCAIN as President. Gender and race wholly irrelevant. I want Ron Paul as President, and he's of the same gender and race. I think all of this categorizing vote by race and gender is setting us back decades on the social equality front, actually.

No. People will vote for McCain either because they think he's more qualified for the job, or because they think Hillary and Obama aren't. It's really sad that people love to narrow down an issue to race or gender and refuse to see the truth

I'll be voting for McCain because he is far better than the other options which isn't saying much.

I'm an independent, and I support John McCain. My decision is not based upon his race or gender. There are puh-lenty of white males in politics that have not received my support, and never would LOL.

I vote for the candidate based on there record, integrity and what they stand for.

It has nothing to do with being a woman, or a minority. I would vote for them in a heart beat if they were the right candidate. But unfortunately, neither one is the right candidate in my opinion.
