Please don't use anything like that without asking your doctor if it is safe, especially if you are referring to genital herpes. Your genital area is very sensitive and you need to be very careful what you apply there. You need oral meds by prescription such as valcyclovir. No corticosteroids! Creams/ointments are not as effective, even by prescription.
