Do the retail employees deserve a six digit yearly figure income for their hard work?

    No, because their employers would be unable to sustain those figures without either getting product at lower prices or selling them at significantly higher prices. If they tried selling them at higher prices, not as many people would buy things and they would make even less money. Plus, retail isn't typically an area that requires a ton of training and dedication and most people don't want to do it as a career, unless they are selling bigger things like houses and cars where they typically do get six figure incomes.
