  • Answer:

I don't know how old you are, this could be a heart saying there's something wrong (angina) you should get to an ER and have them check it out, that's what they are there for. It could be a pleurisy also something a little less serious.

Get to the ER now all chest pains need to be checked

Any pain above the waist should be considered and treated as a possible heart attack in the making. It might be something else, but get it checked out.

Did you injure yourself? You may have a cervical disc that is protruding and resting on your spinal column which would cause pain to go down one or both of your arms, the pain could also radiate to your chest muscles. other symptoms would be tingling or numbness, especially in fingers, muscle spasms, head aches. The only way to really see is by having an MRI, an x-ray would be done first before a MRI can be done. If you have insurance, look up a Neurologist in your plan and go see him. If no coverage, join a pain management program in a hospital where you live, they have charity care programs where it will cost you nothing to a small percentage according to your wages, the pain management can diagnos and treat you, so can a neurologist, feel better.

I suspect that there is a problem with your pectoralis muscle. Do you lift weights or do heavy lifting with your arms? I would definitely pay a visit to a chiropractor right away.

The chest part is because the muscles or nerves in your back are pinched. When the nerves get pinched in the rib cage area they transfer the pain to the front so while you get a burning across your chest the culprit is actually your back. Because you mentioned the neck as part of the problem I am adding the releases for that as well. Here they are: For your neck: place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath and exhale. After 30 seconds you should be feeling the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp, then lean your head forward as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds. Back: Place your left hand on your left leg and try to keep it straight. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.
