Try eating foods with a lot of potassium. Have a banana or two. Just do start monkeying around.

If it is a dehydration or loss of electrolytes problem, yes to the bananas and orange juice too. I am on blood pressure meds and am supposed to do at least one of those and preferably both every day. There are other reasons for cramping that should be tended to by a professional if hydration and the bananas and/or orange juice don't help. Hydration does NOT include alcoholic or caffeinated drinks because they are diuretics and cause a loss of electrolytes.

drinking lots of water is always good. I get restless leg syndrome and leg cramps at night I take calcium, magnesium, potassium and Vitamin D3 right before I go to sleep

bananas are always a good way to keep cramps away!

A good fluid intake including tonic water will help. The tonic water has quinine in which helps stop cramp. Some medicines cause cramp

I have been told that potassium helps with that. Eat a banana; they contain lots of this.
