Is there any way to get some decent pain meds without the hassle and money of a doctors office visit?

If your talking about narcotics, No. The advice about taking more of an over the counter medication is a stupid suggestion unless you want to damage your liver and kidneys and risk death. If your in pain and over the counters dont work, your going to have to see a doctor but your still most likely not going to get a narcotic.

No there is not. Self medication leads to drug addiction and death. Please be more careful in the future.

Just a tip, 200mg times 4 tablets does not equal 660mg. Tylenol #1 confuses me but I do know that Tylenol # 2,3, and 4 have codeine in them. Tramadol is ultram and I doubt if you could get that over the phone either. In order to be prescribed pain meds you will need to be evaluated for type of pain and for how long you may need treated. Obviously you will have to call your doctor.

... you're asking if you can get pain pills without seeing a doctor. did you think about what you're asking? i mean, seriously? you think you can just walk in off the street and get vicodin or something? really? bayer, tylenol or advil is the best you're going to get. and if you "need meds to function," you should see a doctor anyway. either that, or just develop a serious drug problem and ruin your life already.

Doctor's visits for 'pain meds' are required because many of the pain meds are narcotics, habit forming, and can be abused. The only serious painkiller that is available is Tylenol #1 that has minor amounts of codeine in it. Mostly it doesn't work that well. Here's a hint, go see your doctor instead.

Pain medication? Just take slightly more of the over the counter ones, Ibuprofen, Naproxen Sodium, Percogesic. Get them in the generic bottles and take a few more pills than the instructions, trust me, if you went to a doctor about it, he'd give you a prescription for 660 mg ibuprofen pills, but if you want to do that you could just take 4 over the counter 200 mg pills.

It depends on who your doctor is. Call your family doctor and tell him/her of the pain and see if they can call you in some tramadol(this is a generic) to your pharmacy. Sometimes physicians will do this for their well established patients.
