Can you enter Canada from the US with a green card?

I am a permanent Resident of the US and have a green card can i use only my green card to enter canada?

look hummungaria u need a passport to enter Canada,u have the green card stay in America u wanted to get there bad enough! no passport no travel.

You need a valid passport also. A green card does not show your citizenship. Also, when you return to the U.S. a passport IS required to re-enter.
