not that I'm a doctor. Being dehydrated can cause headaches. try drinking a bit more water during the day (water, not soda). and a full glass when you've got a headache.

omg. Im 16 and suffer the same thing. I was diagnosed with migraine headaches. not much you can do about it. medication is really the only thing. and its very hard to diagnose. you have to go threw bloodtests and other tests. good luck& i hope you feel better.

i had suffered for years with head aches that would be like putting a nail in my head and waiting a few minutes before pulling it out then only to stick it back in I couldn't even touch my hair it would trigger the pain ,went the doctors and hospital they ran a series of test but couldn't find nothing wrong with me so I dealt for years with the pain . then 1 day my wife told me to try sinus pills she said it can't hurt and you tried about everything else so I did and it worked . still get em but now I get relief fast with sinus pills..but also don't forget were not doctors so get checked out it could be something more serious

you say your an honor roll student and very active? thats probably the reason why, you are still in high school. try to cut down some of your school work or drop out of some of your honor classes. workout more often. and most importantly, HAVE SOME FUN! go out to parties or hang out with friends more often. and of course more sleep

Go to see a doctor, it could be many causes.

It could be anything from bad eyes, lack of sleep, bad diet, stress or something more serious. Good luck on your doctor's visit. I hope it's an easy fix and you feel better soon. By the way, if you don't already, use Excederin-works wonders. Nothing else works for me. Only drawback is that it has caffeine in it so use the PM Excederin if it's close to your bed time otherwise it'll keep you up all night.

Chronic sinus pressure headaches. I get that every fall. Lasts until right after Christmas. They have gotten better as I've gotten older. Now they only last 2-3 weeks. People - she didn't say anything about having to go straight to bed the when she gets the headache. A migraine causes you to sleep. If you do not need to sleep at the onset of the headache, it is NOT a migraine. That is one of the ways a Doctor diagnoses migraines.
