  • Answer:

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information available at http://tinyurl.com/q8696

Sounds like a migraine headache , the are terrible. Or another kind could be caused by a sinus infection. The first thing you should do is go to a doctor so that you can get the proper medication. HeadOn does help some as the other things mentioned I also put a moist towel that I heat in mircowave but if it is a migraine that keeps you home with the lights out you need something else.

trying to take a nap always helps for me. but if it is that bad, i would recommend going to the doctor. don't mean to freak you out...but my mom was having these terrible headaches, her eyes felt they were also going to pop out. we took her to the emergency room, they gave her a mri and turned out she had a minor stroke! so just to rule that out...seeing a doctor would help!

If you drink caffeine on a normal basis, that may be the source of the headache. If you cannot leave the house, then try to find a place to relax. Sometimes a hot cloth placed on the top of the forehead allows the blood flow to increase and will lessen the severity of a headache. You can try to drink something soothing.....warm tea.....hot cocoa...and just lay down....soft music or no sound at all....light a candle and relax..breathe in through your mouth for a 3 count....hold a 3 count and then release through the nose for a 3 count...all of them are slow, deliberate breaths. Most of all....get away from the screen for awhile. It should help. Hope you feel better soon.

it's called "Head On". It looks like a glue stick and you can usually get it at your local drug store. It's all natural and isn't a steriod. But, anyhow, just draw where it hurts and you'll immediatly feel a cooling sensation, then just lay down and your headache will be gone within minutes i assure you

Sometimes drinking a bunch of water helps. Dehydration is one of the most common problems. If that doesn't work you could try pressure points. Between your eyes, temples or earlobes sometimes works. If it is a tension headache, roll a towel long ways and place it around your neck with the middle of the towel at the base of your neck. Then pull the towel ends up and forward placing pressure against the base of your neck. do this on and off for ten sec. at a time. Other than that sleep will help. Good Luck!

Drink lots of water, lay down in a dark room, take aspirin, try not to think about it, and don't have any strong smells in the room. Good Luck!

Lavender scent ofter relaxes the senses. i suggest taking a warm bath with some lavender bubble bath or if you have lavender oil put some on a tissue and breath it in.
