yes--now this really really works- bathe his feet - dry well- - -put Vaseline-or petroleum jelly on-rub well in-keep socks on -do this every night till it heals and once a week after, you will see a difference the first morn-good luck.

don't bother with vaseline (its just crude oil!) or expensive creams, they don't work. try castor oil...its so amazing if you rub it in twice or more a everyday. also try super/crazy glue if he starts to bleed. I know that helps keep the skin together.

I had that problem, and I had to go for pediceres a couple times. They slice off with all the dead and dry skin with this razor thing they use for about 20 minutes, and she was not happy about having to do all that work. You can buy one at the cosmetic section anywhere, After all that dead dry skin is off, then apply heal balm daily for a few days till the cuts heal. Im telling u, no way his feet were worse than mine. Anyway, if he takes care of his feet and u help him with the shredding away of the dry skin, his feet will be all pretty again, just like mine : )
