What might be causing my itchy inner ear?

My ear keeps ringing, what might be causing this?

I've been having this ringing noise in my ear, like the beating of drums. What is making this happen? Could I just have an ear infection?

Have you been working or around an area with constant loud noise, with decibels higher than about 120 or so? You might be suffering from some hearing complications.. I'd see a doctor. If that's not the case, I would say it's an ear infection.
