What are the differences between the ACT and SAT?

ACT/SAT differences?

  • What's the difference? I took my ACTs and got a 25. Do I need to take SATs? I'm planning to go to nursing school and become an RN and work in a hospital Nursery with my mother.

  • Answer:

That's a good score and most colleges accept the ACT instead of SAT, I think it's like 99.9% of them. Check into the colleges you're applying to if you need to take any SAT subject tests, like in science or foreign language, since some nursing programs require those in addition to the ACT or the regular SAT.

Take the SAT just in case. A score of 25 is alright. 26 or higher is considered good...

Depends on what the college you want to attend requires you to take. Go to the college website and check the admission requirements.
