Is 1800 a good score on the SAT's?

    Unfortunately, no. I also get near 1800 on the SAT like you. For the top 30 colleges it will look good but not great. I dont know how hard it is to get 1800 because thats the score I am getting right now when I am practicing. I stilll got few more months to practice to bump up to 2000.

For the top tiered schools, no. For all other decent schools it's an adequate score and if you have any intelligence, with a little studying you should be able to get that.

it is more like an above average score. It is not absolutely exceptional. But it is an overall very good score

depends on where you want to go. I think to get into a decent school you should get at least 1950. keep taking the test over and over again. the sats tests how well you take the sats so if you take practice tests more, you'll be better prepared. My first score (practice) was 1600 but i eventually got 2190

an 1800 is usually the cut off for scholarships but it will be hard if you don't study.
