AP Statistics Practice Exam for teachers?

Is there any of you have just taken the AP Statistics exam today ?

  • Answer:

That's what everyone says... we took a class poll, and we all thought the multiple choice sucked, but the free response was comparatively easy, and even a middle schooler could probably have completed some of number 6. I feel the exact same way. Unfortunately, I think I made a mistake by not omitting enough on the multiple choice, so that will cost me. My teacher said that roughly a 60% is required for the multiple choice to get a 5, but that may go up or down depending on how everyone else did (everyone in the country is saying the multiple choice was a killer...) and how you did on the short answer.

I thought it was really weird. The m/c weren't that bad, I only left one blank. But on the open questions I was like, ok, where are the tests of significance? For #6, since sometimes the median is skewed toward the larger values even when skewed right, I said: Q3-Minimum and Maximum-Q1 If the difference between Q3 and Min is less than Max and Q1, it is skewed right. IDK if that's right though.

Same here as almost everyone else! I thought multiple choice was pretty bad. I went in wanting to get a 5, but I'm only confident about around 24ish of the multiple choice. I thought the free response was better, but I skipped most parts of number 2 and only had time to BS the last two parts of 6!

I didn't have a really good teacher for AP stats..the class was a joke, no one paid attention. As a result, I ended up learning the subject by myself and cramming everything a week before, so I was totally underprepared. It was so bad... I ended up not caring about whether or not I passed (I'm a senior, I just want to graduate!!) and I couldn't concentrate because it was lunch time outside and people were yelling and ughh I even forgot what formulas to use I thought the MC was hard, much harder than the ones on the Barron's practice exam, and Barron's is supposed to be the hardest prep book! The free response was ok, I didn't answer some of them... and omg.. the IT or #6 didn't make sense at all to me.. I ended up BSing it..

the free-response was super-easy..i totally aced that. but the multiple choice was definitely harder.

I agree the multiple choice was weird, some problems on there I had never seen before. It also seemed everything was on concepts, which sucks cuz I reviewed the other aspect of statistics. I was disappointed in the whole test because everything seemed to be different from what I had prepared for. Anyways, yea 6 was kinda easy and i think it wasnt a trick, it sucks though cuz i didn't finish the last part of six, i only went up to the whole dot plot thing. Oh and number 2 i left blank, that one was hard. And the firefighter one im not sure if i used the correct formula.....
