Answer:
They weigh standardized test scores more heavily than GPA, but 24 is still a good score. Unless you're trying to get into an Ivy League school, then you might want to try again, or try your luck with the SAT... or tell them you know J-Rod, I got my Doctorate in Pimpology from Yale!

They're okay, I would try again...are you a junior? You still have plenty of time. Why don't you try an ACT prep course? I took a SAT prep course twice and my score went up 500 points...

I believe colleges look at SAT and ACT scores more than they do with your actual GPA. School difficulty varies from school to school so you can never tell if somebody with a high GPA is just plain smart or if it's because they came from a school with easy curriculum (or just took easy classes). For example, my GPA was 2.2 because I went to a tough private school, but I my overall ACT score was a 30. I got into a semi-hard to get into college while one of my friends was turned down. She has a 3.9 GPA but only got a 24 overall on the ACT. I would keep taking it until you get a higher score. You'll need a 29-30+ to get into some higher-level schools regardless of GPA.

Your math is a bit low, however, usually people score lower on math. Overall, I think you're doing extremely well, especially with a 3.7 GPA! You can always retake if you are unsure, but with a GPA that high, schools will not base their admittance on simply your test scores alone. For public universities, you will not have a problem. Good luck with your college career!

It all depends where you want to go, I had a 3.4 and a 26 but I had TONS of extracurriculars. Most schools look for well rounded students. Also, they look at your courses that you have taken throughout high school to see if you are challenging yourself. 24 is pretty good, your writing is excellent. If you can, take it again, I took it 3 times, 22 my first time, 24 my 2nd and 26 my 3rd. Look at the freshmen requirements/averages for the college you want to go to. Your GPA is great though.

ACT scores are really what helps you get into most colleges. It looks like are you pretty good in english, so try to enhance that a little, then work on your math. There are some online study tips you can look up that helped me. Your writing grade is great and your GPA is good. Try to get your ACT score up around a 26-28 if you are wanting any kind of scholarship.
