IQ Test Help?

IQ stands for intelligence quotient. Supposedly, it is a score that tells one how “bright” a person is compared to other people. The average IQ is by definition 100; scores above 100 indicate a higher than average IQ and scores below 100 indicate a lower that average IQ. Theoretically, scores can range any amount below or above 100, but in practice they do not meaningfully go much below 50 or above 150. 130 is above average. The average for an IQ test is 100. However, the standard deviation is 15+/-, but you're still pretty high up there. You are within the 95.44th percentile, which is really good. However, IQ doesn't just test intelligence. It only tests, what psychologists call, "class room" intelligence. Thus, the test can be somewhat flawed. So you really can't generalize what type of people that is. Many brilliant scientists have gotten low IQ scores but gone on to be smart. Keep in mind that this test is constantly undergoing transformations so what one score was years ago has most likely changed. Still, don't undermine yourself. This is a great score.

It means you are brilliant as someone who has achieved some level in the intelligence quotient parameters. If you had achieved 95 that is good as well. Part of the test is experience and education as if you are not aware of what is required you have difficulty in answering the questions. You are probably a little better than average considering the level the test was set for. Part of life is self belief and while these tests help if you say you can you will.

anyone can have an I.Q. of 130 or higher and still be where they are now. you can be a Doctor and have a low IQ or you can have an extremely high IQ and be working and McDonald's.

That's pretty high, average IQ is 100... However, you could be just vainly boasting about it by asking this question. If that is true, which I think it is, then that isn't a very smart thing to do, something a kid would do to inflate his ego by getting people to tell him how smart he is. How's that for brillance!
