Ice prevents acne. You're supposed to get really hot like hold your face over a steaming bowl of water or take a hot shower (this opens your pores so the acne-causing oils can come out.) then wash your face with whatever cream or lotion you use. Pat-dry your face completely with a towel. Rubbing an ice cube on your face will now close the pores and keep the oils out.
