Answer:
Giving nasty effects on the face, DRY SKIN problems respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results. In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care. Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection. dry skin can lead to development of eczema in severe cases. that is why you need to keep the skin moist. to do this, you must first use an all natural skin care moisturizer that can be effective in locking in moisture to the skin. since it is all natural, it will not have negative side effects on the skin. you are maybe using product that is not effective on your skin type. all natural skin care works well for all skin types. take care of your skin by having healthy habits and lifestyle. have proper diet, enough exercise and plenty of rest, sleep and relaxation to make the skin look good and healthy. avoid unhealthy habits like smoking and alcohol drinking for this can dry out the skin. avoid long hot baths. be gentle with the skin, do not be abrasive and never rub it. for more tips on how to gain soft, smooth and clear skin visit http://www.skinsosilky.com

i too have really sensitive skin and bad acne (well had bad acne) what i use is Neutrogena 8 hour oil free protection face wash and lotion. it actually works really well and it seems to be the only thing i dont react to. plus the lotion works great and i can wear my make up over it and everything. its not too oily or anything. good luck!!

never use plain soap with acne as it dries the skin

Have a look at the forums at www.acne.org as you will find many different solutions there to approaching your acne treatment. Aqueous cream can help with the dryness and should work on most even sensitive skin; it's also very cheap! Make sure the brand you buy of aqueous cream does not have lanolin in. Diet is also important, in particular avoiding sugar, fat and dairy if possible.

i don't know what to do for the acne cus lately i've been getting it under my eyes on my cheeks and can't get rid of it, but i have the same dry skin problem as you. for my body i use a scrub in the shower (like a sugar scrub) by a brand called bodycology. it's sold at walmart. it's about 6 bucks, and i barely have to put lotion on after i use it. Olay quench therapy lotion also works well for dry skin and it doesn't block pores. you may want to try Olay's deep cleansing mousse for the face and then slather on a thick lotion or cream that doesn't block the pores to help with the acne. it should say on the bottle of the lotion that it doesn't block pores.

Food Wise: Stay away from dairy and greasy foods, eat a ton of fruits and veggies with water as you are, and that should detoxify your body. ALso avoid processed sugars. Cleansing Wise: I like Dove face washes because they are gentle and leave your skin feeling moist, wash face in shower so that your face gets a little moisture after, and only wash once a day or your skin will really dry out. If your body skin is dry and irritated take a few days off from soap, it's good to give your skin a break, I'd say like 1-2 weeks so all your natural body oils resotre. Just try that for now and see how it goes, good luck. Oh and just try organic lotions made with ingrediants you recognize maybe you are allergic to one of the chemicals in other lotions

For sensitive skin use cetaphil facial cleanser (it's not a soap so it won't dry out your skin) and moisturize with Eucerin Facial SPF 15 lotion (it's for sensitive skin, it's light so it won't cause breakouts). And to cover up your scars and soothe any redness or itchiness use Bare Essentials Bare Minerals make-up;; it's so good you don't even have to wash it off at night, You can find it online, some malls or Sephora.
