What test do homeschoolers have to take to get into college?

I'm home schooled and I had to take the SAT. Usually to get into a junior college, all you have to take is the accuplacer. My advise, take the SAT or ACT, either one works. I've been told the ACT is easier, but I'm not sure. Just study study study! Good luck!

They take the SAT and/or ACT just like any other student. However it used to be common for colleges to require additional test such as the SAT II or the entrance/placement exams that are more common in 2 yr colleges or tech schools. Colleges are starting to move away from those policies. In very rare circumstances a college might insist on a GED the the student did not receive an accredited diploma. ETA: Paul, most homeschoolers do not have to take a standardized test to complete highschool. There are a few states with that requirement, but the majority do not have that requirement.

No. We still take the SAT or ACT like you do.

There's no special tests for homeschoolers. They have to take the same standardized tests the college would expect from any students.

You should probably verify this by calling ACT and/or SAT but I believe everyone takes the same test. What you may be thinking of is the standardized test that home schooler have to take to graduate HS. But I am sorry I do not know the name of that test.
