What is the best Home School program for 1 years use?

K12 is a really good program. I'm a junior in high school. and I've been doing it for about two years now. Its a really nice program. You should look into it. Good Luck :)

Since you are planning to put him back in school when he recovers you might be able to go through the school board. Normally we tell people not to talk to the school board because they are anti-home school but in your case and since you want him in public school its a good idea. Our area has a program for home bound students. They provide all the materials you need and a teacher who gives assignments and all you have to do is make sure he is getting them done and that he understands the work.

I am so sorry to hear of your son's illness. May he have a speedy and complete recovery and be healthy from now on! If you are only planning to homeschool him for the rest of this year, your best bet is to do it through your school district. In this way, he will receive the same materials he would use if he was in school, at no cost. You may also qualify for a teacher from the district to come and oversee his work. I do not recommend you use a different curriculum. Many of the homeschool curriculums are excellent, but he would be learning an entirely different set of material, which would result in confusion when he returns to school. The American School is out of Illinois and you can only do one year if you wanted to.
