Would you prefere to get homeschooled or stick with public school:]?

I went to public schools and it was awful for me. I never grew or had any significant experiences at all. I was a complete and total loser for all my years in school, and being forced to go to school and be in that environment just made me feel worse. I also feel that the public education system is backward and held me back from reaching my true potential in my earlier years. I think public school is a damned waste of time at least at the sub-college level.

welll i prefere homeschooling i actually do my school on the computer at connections academy, they send you a computer, hook up your interent if you need it, and seend you books for free. The reason im Homeschooled is because i have an 11 month and 1/2 year old daughter.

It depends on the person. If you're being limited by a public school education and can do better as an independent learner, homeschooling may be best. But some other people need the structure of public schooling as well.

I was home schooled, graduated HS a lot earlier at sixteen. So I would have to go with home schooling. I don't think public schooling helps you grow or become more mature, if anything it doesn't. After I graduated, I got a part time job and started taking college courses. Public schooling held me back from fulfilling my potential.

Homeschooling. You get to be with people & friends out in the world in different places and different activities every day. That's better than being cooped up with the same people all day long every day and then going home and doing nothing the rest of the day.

I hate homeschool. I would recommend sticking with public school. But yet homeschool has an advantage so I guess its a tie. It would depend, homeschooling you lose your social life and feel trapped in your own house. Public school you have a lot of drama and you wake up early. So it depends on the person. In elementary I recommend you start homeschool instead of high school or middle school. I'm in 9th grade and this is my first year of homeschool. I can't wait to go back to regular school. If you do it in elementary you would like it and then it would be ok to do it your whole life.

Definitely public school. Although homeschooling has tempting advantages like being able to sleep in...be lazy and be in sweats all day... I really truly think people that are homeschooled miss out on a huge growing process that I believe every student needs. By being exposed to public school you grow socially, mentally, and gain experiences to help you through the rest of your life.

I would have to say public school. I say that because I think that everyone should get to experience it. They should go to prom and do all the homecoming activities. I love public school. Home-schooling is so stupid and I hate it.
