Do you know of any site I can go to get free worksheets so my son can learn to write his name tracing?

I would avoid worksheets altogether. Children learn best through play. Why not play post office with him. Use envelopes to write his name, so he sees how it is written. Show him how to write his name in the return address portion of an envelope. Then he can send letters to you. Wouldn't this be a funner way to learn than worksheets?

I found these great stamps @ learning resources. They come in two styles of writing. (If you know which school your kids are attending, you can call the school and find out what form of writing they are doing.) I stamp their names on sentence paper and then the kids can trace over the dots to create their names. It is not only educational, but it is also FUN!

Another way to help your son learn to write his name would be to print his name on large piece of card stock, laminate it, and have him use play dough/clay to form the letters. Its a great activity for developing his fine motor skills and he'll be learning and playing at the same time. Try to make your own dots. I did it all the time. Only takes a second.

There is a font called School House Print. You could type your son's name in the largest size several times & print it out in a pale gray so that he could trace over the lines. I think I will try this with my 4 year old! LOL :)

You don't have to use worksheets...You can simply get paper and dot his name and make him trace....
