If you have left school you could study for your qualification as you work. if you are based in the UK then you could try get a job at www.kidsunlimited.co.uk where they will fund your studies while you work and get valuable pratical experience.

You need average to good G.C.S.E results to apply to college to do the N.N.E.B course which is internationally recognised. This is normally a two year full time course or you can now do the NVQ course which allows you to work while training.

Hello. I'm a nursery teacher in England and four nursery nurses work with me. They have got different qualifications which are all equivalent to level three. You can do a BTec, CACHE (NNEB) diploma or NVQ. It depends what course your local college runs.

A Btec Diploma in Nursery Nursing oir an NNEB Qualification

You would need to look into taking an NNEB course at a local Further Education college. There may be other courses which offer equivalent qualifications, but as far as I've always known its the NNEB you need to go into Nursery Nursing. This is in the UK of course. Sorry - can't help if you live anywhere else!
