How to become a train/tram driver? Help! (United Kingdom)?

Call the city, go on their website and see for available positions. if they are not part of city- Find out who owns the trams and call them. See what qualifications you need.

You can always ask at tfl . I'm not from the UK, can't tell if there are any schools for train drivers, but I've seen Nexus Metro of Tyne & Wear evaluating a driver while in a real service. Better ask. They do use a banner with their logo to separate drivers small space from the rest of the car. Tubes' driver cabin's larger. They can do that without even passengers know.

First go buy yourself a engineer's hat, then buy a ticket and get on the train or tram...Walk up to the front and throw the engineer off the train/ tram....Voila...You're an engineer!
