Eurostar train from London Waterloo station (after November 3rd 2007 Eurostars will depart from London St. Pancras station) to Bruxelles. Change there to a 'Thalys' high speed train direct to Amsterdam. This stops also at Schipol airport. A new highspeed line is under construction from Schipol (Hoofdorp) to Bruxelles which should be open by 2010, shortening the journey time considerably. Ticket prices vary depending on how far in advance you can book.

I agree you can go by Eurostar - but you don't need to go to Paris as others have said. It would be far more sensible to go to Brussels which is also served by direct services from London.

Not Directly..Eurostar will take You From London through the channel tunnel to Paris, and You could get an onward connection to Amsterdam from there..
