Have you already tried doing it by going to Preferences in Yahoo Messenger from the Messenger menu and then on the General tab : edit Mobile Device....? 1. Sign into Yahoo IM 2. Go up in the corner to click on Messenger menu. 3. Click on Preferences. 4. Click on the General tab. 5. In the bottom box it says: Edit Mobile Device and then to see if your carrier / new number is compatible. I hope this helps!
