Is there a way to have a different theme backround for our yahoo(360) blog, and is there a way to add music?

Answer:
To create your own theme/upload your own background: Search Google for desktop backgrounds or wallpaper. Then, save the picture you want to use on your page to your computer. http://digitalblasphemy.com/freegallery.shtml http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpapers/ http://caedes.net On your 360 page: Click "Change theme" >then, click the "Edit Custom theme" link: http://360.yahoo.com/edit/custom_theme.html Upload the background and decide where you'll position it on your page. If you're going to tile the background, get a picture that is at least 1024 x 768, so it doesn't tile a lot. Then: Scroll down to the middle of the 'Customize my theme' box that comes up, you'll see "Enter color hex value or click square to choose color." This is to change the different sections/modules of your page. You can just type "Transparent" (without the quotes), so the main background isn't covered by the boxes. Or, click the white square to choose your colors. Then, scroll down to near the bottom of the same box and you'll see "Enter color hex value or click square to choose color" again. This is where you can change the font and font colors of your page.. click the white square to choose. Then, preview.. and/or save. Tutorial here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-yhchwiM5cqHhPNgOYmmEm6cL5.gKaJ0h?p=113 For music: To add music to your blast: 1) Sign up for a free account at a file-hosting website: http://fileden.com or http://snapdrive.net Upload the song/mp3 to your snapdrive or fileden account. After the song uploads, the website will give you the URL to the mp3. It'll look like http://nameofsong.mp3 Copy the URL of the mp3. It should start with "http" and end with ".mp3" On your Y! 360, click "Edit blast." Then, paste the mp3's URL into the URL section of your blast. Add text to your blast and save. After you've saved it, you should see a "Play" button. Click it to ensure the song works. You can also find mp3 URLs online which you can insert in the URL section of your blast. You can search http://altavista.com for mp3s You can also search http://musichunter.net Search for the mp3 on Musichunter. When you get the results, click the song's link. Near 'Download,' you'll see 'Here.' Click 'Here' and copy the mp3's URL from your address bar. Paste the mp3's URL in your blast. You can't use "wma" or any other format in the blast section; only an mp3. For music in your blog: Sign up for an account at a file-hosting website: http://fileden.com or http://snapdrive.net or http://www.streamload.com -Upload your MP3s to your account. -Go to http://pimp.myyearbook.com/mp3player.php or http://www.pimp-my-profile.com/flash-mp3-player/ -Copy the URL(s) of your MP3s -Paste them into the different boxes on the MP3 Player's website. -Copy the HTML code/tag from the MP3 player's website (click 'Generate the Code.' http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1jAm7AUwdqMmruKHtt7w_UynxTiN?p=16 For http://imeem.com players in your blog: Search for the song on Imeem. When the search completes, click the name of the song near the green 'play' icon. On the next page/under the Imeem music player, you'll see the 'Embed' code (and near that, you'll see the option to have the song on autoplay/keep the box unchecked if you don't want the song to play automatically). Copy the embed code. When you go to compose a blog: 1) Check the "View HTML source" box (on the right of your blog entry page/near the emoticons/fonts/font colors, etc) 2) Paste in the Music player code 3) Add text 4) Preview/Save. Adding your own background is prettyy easy. But first - look at the backgrounds tha some of your friends have - you can "steal" them very easily if you like them. When you visit a page, if you like the theme, look under the person;s picture/avatar on the Top Page. A little below where it says "Send Message" is a link: "Make this theme mine." By the way, I find the l;ink above it ""View page without theme" very useful at times: Some people make their print so light on a clear field that it is difficiult to read through the background. Click here - problem solved! If you ahve some artwork or photos you wantto use for your own theme, that is also easy. First, select the jpg file(s0 you want. (They MUST be jpg) You can have one picture fot the entire theme, or one for the top and one for the bottom. The JPG file cannot be bigger than 250KB. Click on "My Page" on the menu bar on the top of the page. On the new page, you will see a big question mark right under the menu bar which says next to it "Theme: custom" Clcik on the link under it "Change Theme" and you get a page with all the YAHOO selcted choices. Then click where it says "New: Customize Yout Theme" and a box pops open. You have your choice of single back ground or top and bottom background. Use the "Browse" feature to find the JPG file(s) you pre-selected, then click "open" from that menu to add the picture to the box. If you are selecting one picture, you can select "Tile" (repating all over the page) or the position on the page where you want the picture. Click "Preview" to see if you like it, and then "Save" - and you ahve a personal theme. I can't help youwith the music, though.
