What do people think of  a person who works at big tech company like google,microsoft,amazon or yahoo?

Are girls impressed by them? Yes, and their parents even more. But...

I think what lies beneath the shirt makes more of an impression. But maybe that's just me.

All who work in those big companies aren't geniuses and all who work in start-ups aren't fools. They are good by their own way. If any girls gets attracted to me by looking at those company names on my t-shirt then I would reject her immediately. Tomorrow, the company may die. But my character won't. Of course. money is essential for living, I can sustain in this world in half an acre land by just sowing rice for myself and my family. But I don't want a girl to leave me when I am having tough situations.

G,M,Y,A.... These are Software Product companies. And people working there are above then those donkeys working in IT Services like TCS, Infosys, Wipro Software Product guys(i mean core product developers) know Technology & love what they are doing. Thought process is structured because everything moves around a product which is based on a idea. On other Hand our IT Services guys are working like Prostitutes with both side opened & charging per hour Indian Girls(i mean most of them, even engineers) are weak at understanding difference between Software Services & Software Products. They need a handsome guy with BMW with colorful Passport :) No matter you work with Google or Infosys

Well only Geeks respect if you work in Amazon, Google or Microsoft.. For the aam admi you are just another IT professional !! Most of the times the aam admi doesn't even know companies other than Infosys or TCS.. As far as girls are concerned , it may be a plus point but I'd doubt if they go hunting for a Google engineer to date ;)

I have always had a strong feeling of respect towards people who work in such companies. We realise that these companies have twisted the very fabric of present day situation through endless efforts. These companies are a neccessity in our day to day lives. If someone works in these companies, we should appreciate their work, their caliber and their intellect. Girls get impressed by moral and emotional qualities and your job matters a little bit less in comparison to these. Albeit, you will be earning a lot so chics might get attracted to that.
