Spoke to Porsche, it will be in 2011. However, next year they will be coming out with a saloon (sedan in America) car for the first time.

Not really the next generation, but a small refresh, which should come out in Fall. It will have around 310HP in the Cayman S and around 265HP in the Cayman. Same engines, but tuned to give more power. It will have a slightly different front bumper and rear tail lights with LED's. The next generation Cayman will not be out until 2011. The Cayman S just came out in 2006 and the Cayman came out in 2007. They are still new cars. It is too soon for a next generation. It should be around 2011.

I have not heard a word as to when. Since it is only 2006 since it came out, I bet it is going to be 2010 or 2011. They usually keep the body changes to 5 year centers.
