I am totally biased as the 911 is one of my all time favourite cars, but if you are thinking of buying it I would definitely go for it. It got a 5* star review by Exchange and Mart which is pretty amazing - not many cars get the full 5 stars!

gt3
A gt3 if you plan to use it on a track did you know that the gt3 is not the fastest Porsche 911 its the gt2 the gt3 is a track/road car the turbo is like the car for a playboy that also loves speed and the gt's are cars that girls more than likely would not want to be in comfort wise( unless she is a piston head too) but test all of them turbo gt3 and gt2 and some of the lower models to

Tough question. For sheer power, the new 911 Turbo rules at 500 HP (& over 500 lb-ft torque); the normally aspirated GT-3 turns out 435 HP, but much less torque than the Turbo (Others to consider: the 2010 Nissan GTR has 485 HP, and the Porsche GT-2 has 530. The GTR weighs 3836 lbs: it is easily the heaviest and most butt-ugly car I'll discuss here). The Porsche 911 Turbo has all-wheel drive, while the GT-3 does not. The GT-3 weighs just over 3,000 lbs compared to the Turbo's 3,500. For those with the skill to maneuver the much lighter GT-3 around the track without losing it in the turns, the GT-3 is possibly the best track car -- these two Porsches each run almost precisely 7 lbs/HP (7.9 for the GTR). The GT-3 is less expensive than the 911 Turbo. Easily beating all of these is the (turbocharged, rear drive) Porsche GT-2 at about 3,150 lbs yielding 5.94 lbs/HP. Clearly, all of the Porsches can whip the Nissan's ugly butt. Added: I almost forgot the GT-3 RS at 450 HP, yielding 6.77 lbs/HP. The RS (and RSR) models are built by Porsche only now and then. There is an RS for 2010. Porsche gets a big premium for the RS, but it's a beautiful car!
