Whats the difference between the porsche cayman and boxster??

Go with the Cayman. The lines are much more beautiful. Tighter car all around.

The hard top of the cayman is the biggest thing. The front and rear bumpers are slightly different and the cayman has a pop-up spoiler at the rear.

the cayman is a coupe and the boxster is a convertible. I think they are similar in all other aspects except one. There are many more boxsters on the road than caymans, which makes it more desirable and thus they charge more for that.

The Cayman is much more highly developed machine(besides being a coups). R & D cost big bucks...

The Porsche Cayman is a coupe. The Porsche Boxster is a convertible.

As far as i know it is a boxster with hard top(coup). They are not that popular as the boxster & mostly up north u find them more. People love the convertible boxster. Get the S one. Much..much..& much better than other. I wouldn't give 4k extra for a cayman. i would rather give 10k more and get the boxster s

The biggest difference is in the body. There are some suspension updates and tuning differences. The Caymen costs a little more to make and you get to pay the difference.

Why would you pay MORE for a coupe over a convertible. Porsche really screwed up on this one. I'd take a Vette over either of them!
