Which Porsche is the fastest?

Which Is FASTER? A Porsche Cayman OR A Porsche Boxter?

  • Which Is FASTER? A Porsche Cayman OR A Porsche Boxter??? Im Tryin To Decide. PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Answer:

As far as the standard models is concerned the Porsche Cayman is faster but with some proper optaional extras a Porsche Cayman can reach within a 10th of a second behind a Porsche 911 Carrera S although by then the Porsche Boxter is way behind even with its optaional high performance extras but to let you in on a secret is that a Porsche Cayman if it is modified corectly by a professional or a porsche expert such as Techart or 9ff a Porsche Cayman will go faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo specialy with a limited slip electronic PTM differential around a track although it will probbely still lack behind in a drag strip. Since you say you are trying to decide between the Porsche Boxter and a Porsche Cayman you might as well go for the highly reliable, quicker, safer, fun to ride and fuel effitient Cayman although if you are trying to buy a Porsche and a Cayman you must try to look at a Porsche 911 model insted this is specially case that the Porsche Cayman is in the middle of a unchanted price terretory with putts it in a vehicle class of its own. If you are trying to go on a shoe string budget and still have a good Porsche, get the Standard Cayaman unless if you are highly argumented to roadsters which the Porsche Boxter is rather the best and if you ask a proper knowladgable expert on this field you will again and agian here that the best car you can buy these days is a Porsche mostly case of the 911 model range from where you can slecet yours spot on since there are so many variants to choose from and so you must look at 911 models first then if it don't fit you, try the Porsche Cayman and buy that one with proper performance parts. In a cayman you might have to look for PDK, the sport crono pacgae and its best aero kit if you want to really go faster.

Actually, if you look at the performance figures on Porsche's website, they both have essentially similar figures they're that close to each other. For the Mustang fan, The Cayman S: 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds 166 mph top speed All with less hp and torque (295 hp and 251 lb/ft ), two less cylinders, and one liter smaller in displacement. Not to mention that the Cayman has quality, fit and finish, safety, and engineering many many many times better than the Mustang. Then there is the fact that the Mustang would get its *** handed to it on the track or curvy road.

The Cayman is quicker, but the Boxter is a convertible. If you are thinking about buying one, I'd wait until they start importing the new ones which look a little cooler and I think they also have a little more horsepower also. If you want more info go to www.porsche.com/usa/

A new Cayman is faster than an old Boxster, but there's big engines and small engines, new engines and old engines, 5-speeds & 6-speeds. Mechanically, they're similar but, to answer your question, the differences have to be checked with pencil and paper. A new Boxster could be faster than an old Cayman!

Cayman. Same engine and everything, but Cayman is lighter, more stiff, and more aerodynamic, so the Cayman accelerates better, handles much better, and has a higher top speed.
