My vauxhall vectra boot wont close the catch just wont hold whan i close it any ideas?

There isn't a standard key hole for it, the catch will not hold when it is closed.

Answer:
slacken off the lock keeper on the boot panel and pull it upwards and the re-tighten it.Close the boot lid and see if the lock works?If so, then move the keeper down and try again until the boot lid is a tight fit to the body to stop it rattling,hope this helps
