What kind of engines can I purchase to upgrade a 2000 Grand Am GT?

I want to know what kind of engines would be an easy upgrade for my car. I would like to purchase an engine that would fit easily and is more powerful than the stock one.

just trade it in for something else. the 3800 is what comes in that car and maybe the supercharged 3800 from the grand prix could bolt in, but I doubt it. Not that great of car to begin with.
