Does a pontiac bonneville need an antenna for the remote keyless entry and power door locks switch to work?

youm will need to replace the antennja with the factory antenna tuned for that system no others will work

Like Curtis said, the radio antenna has no affect on the power lock transmitter.The transmitter has its antenna built into the module.If the doors will only unlock,after being checked from ALL DOOR SWITCHES, check the power door lock circuit @ the power door lock relay. One side of the relay could have gone bad causing only the unlock function to work.
