How do you put free-on in a Pontiac Montana 2001?

My 2001 Pontiac Montana Sputters & or stalls while accelerating. Then a HORRIBLE rotten egg smell occurs.?

    You need to find out what code is stored in the computer and how many. If you do not start there you will just waste time and money guessing. I am sure there is a miss fire code but you will need to know what cylinder and what caused it, poor fuel supply, spark plug or wire, faulty sensor, etc... The codes will give you a direction to go. A minor repair can turn into an expensive one if let go like you did.

Rotten egg smell usually indicates a bad catalytic converter. Go to autozone or an auto parts store and have them pull the codes with their scanner. The code will tell you what is wrong with your vehicle.
