No, it has never been an option on the table. Pontiac will be reducing their car lineup and the Firebird is not and never will be part of that. It sucks but that's the reality, times have changed and there's no need for 2 companies to pretty much make the same car. It'd bad enough that there are a few vehicles in GM's lineup that are like that now.

No. Dont expect it. Even though Chevy did it Pontiac wont. Its far too risky at this time and with the G8just out. Not happening. I`ve talked to insideers at Pontiac. Sorry to say.

I do not expect gm to make a new trans am but you never know. i am sure they are going to see how the new camaro sells before they invest much money in producing a new trans am.
