  Well, all the center of Fribourg is a famous (in Switzerland ;)) medieval town (I'm speaking of the architecture), you don't see many of those in the U.S.! The French is the same in Switzerland as the standard French. Fribourg is half German-speaking, but there were mostly French-speaking people when I visited the university (dunno if you go there). I don't think there will be any "drastic" differences, Switzerland is a Western industrial state, like the U.S. I think young people will appreciate to see an American, if you're not the fundamentalist pro-Bush, type. Oh, I see this section is still trolled...
