Where in Italy do you usually go on exchange?

Where should I go on exchange? Italy or Switzerland ?

  I'm Brazilian but I lived in Geneva, Switzerland when I was smaler. It's a beautiful country and they have a lot of people from other countries so you wont feel out of place, the people are very polite but in winter it's cold and gets dark early witch is really annoying. If i was you i would go to Italy, I've been there and know many Italians so I really like it. theres more of a night life, i think the food is better and the people are warmer and more affectionate. Italians like to party and most teenagers drink a lot like in most countries. As for not speaking the language dont expect everybody to try to talk to you in English you have to make an effort to speak their language, it takes some time, but by the time you leave you should be speaking some and understanding a lot. Exchange programs can be really fun, I have many friends that did it and loved it, and some exchange students that live in my town who I really like. You have to be peoples person, make an effort to be nice and friendly but you do grow a lot and learn more about your self. dont create to many expectations but go there with an open mind. I'm 16 and I want to go abroad next year after I finish high school, Good luck and have fun it s a really cool thing to see the world
