  • Answer:

    1) Contrary to what the other person wrote, German is not the "main" language. Switzerland has 4 official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh. 2) Switzerland is a very safe country but like anywhere, normal caution is required. 3) You can't just waltz into Switzerland and get a job (unless you're from an EU country). You will need a work permit and that will not be easy at all.

What crime? Switzerland is one of the safest countries on earth. Top 5 And everywhere most crimes happend to tourists, but their petty crimes. Mostly pickpocketing. And most violent crimes are caused by other foreigners not locals. If you got that from the U.S. State Department website, they like to greatly over exaggerate things. Don't worry, Switzerland is a very safe country.
