Answer:
It depends where you are moving to. I always had ggaweb.ch and am totally satisfied. It is a tv cable connection, therefore it is very cheap and fast. Cell phone - I have swisscom (my daughter too), my husband has sunrise, my son has orange.

A local Switzerland SIM card from Swisscom will take care of your cell phone needs.. you can even get a local Swiss SIM along with local phone number from RebelFone.com before you leave your home Country .. check the link below:

i've had a good experience with bluewin.ch. It has only gone down once or twice and only for a few minutes. It is pretty fast even on their cheapest plan. When I signed up it came with a free wireless router. It had problems after 4 or 5 months and when I called they said just return it at a nearby store and they sent me another which i got in just 2 days. no problems and no fuss. I had problems setting up the new box (didn't know what I was doing) i called and someone walked me through everything. One of the best things about the customer service though is that i can always reach someone who can help me in english. I have to say that is the most appreciated as my french in technology related matters is not that hot. This sounds like a fake sales pitch but customer service generally sucks here so when i find a company that is helpful i can't resist recommending them.

I'm not really sure about the internet, although most friends of mine seem to have bluwin.ch. As for the cell phones, the most popular are by far Sunrise and Orange. The good thing about these is that if you are looking for the cheapest way to maintain a cell phone you can purchase a prepaid phone and load money (minutes) as you need it. This was perfect for me since I hate to chat on the phone and prefer to use it just to make quick plans. 20 CHF was more than enough to last me each month (unless I called home to the US, then I would have to load an extra 10 CHF).
