I say if you've got the money you should absolutley consider fixing this Cougar up 1997 was the last year for the big V8 RWD models. In my eyes it's truly a collectible car I would love to own one of these model year Cougar's. But if you insist on trading it in you should check out kelly blue book or the NADA.

don't think blue book prices go back that far but you can get a lot more for it if you sell it your self then use it as a trade in on a $3000 "new" car
