    My sister lives and works in Zürich, she rents a nice 3 bedroom apartment, with underground car park, children's play area, solar panel's and underfloor heating. If your pay in £GDP is £12.5K then you should have more than enough to rent a 3 bedroom apartment in Zürich. An international school is best for your children if they don't know German or Swiss German, most people speak English there though, when I went there most people I spoke to in shops said they only spoke a little English, but their English was good. There are many International schools in Zürich, and some are free (not for profit)
