What food is popular in Spain?

What is the average price for food in Spain?

  • What is the average price for food in Spain? I will be mostly living off of street vendors and farmer's markets, not restaurants.

  • Answer:

Depends where you go! Obiously the quieter areas with less tourism are much cheaper, however if you go places such as portugal or popular tourist areas they'll be more expensive, as well as the time of year will make the price vary too in tourist destinations! Spain isnt too expensive but not the cheapest anymore due to the euro being so high, so i would pretty much say to be safe its around the same as the UK at the moment, give or take a little less. Have fun!

Really expensive, plus you can get your whole shop from one supermarket.I have to go to 3 different shops and everyone knows that it always works out more that way. Costs probably €20 a week than when I shop in England.

The Wail of a Banshee

Probably comparable to where you are from. Budget according to if you were doing the same at home...then add about 10%, just in case.

Dart

2 euros and 43 cents. Hope that was a specific enough answer for a vague question.
