  • Answer:

Haven't you already been here, asking this? Haven't you gotten multiple answers, telling you that there are no jobs for unskilled laborers in Spain, and that what little there is goes to the 20 - 40% of the population that is looking for work? (40% represents the demographic from about 20 - 30 years of age with no university education). Do you understand that when one plans to move to a country, one should be able to speak the language of the country, rather than the language of back home? (wherever back home might be, there is a need to communicate with the people you are living amongst). What makes so many people think that the whole world should bend over for them, that they should be able to make a cushy living, without accommodating one bit to the country they are living in? Just one point to add: It would help if you actually KNEW how to speak English...no matter where you wind up: it's "ARE there any jobs...?" Jobs: plural subject. IS: Singular verb form. You know, if you can't even manage "to be" Properly, no one is going to want to hire you for "English Speaking Jobs".

Big Dan I don´t know how your daughter teaches high school English without a qualification or in what part of Spain but in Andalucia she wouldn´t get a job for sure.

The job situation here is grim. You should try to find a job here from home before you come. Try rep or accounting for a tour operator. School teachers are always in demand too.

Best thing to do, would be to pick up the spanish language whilst there. Speaking multiple languages pays big bucks

My daughter has a job teaching English at a high school level. She does not have a teaching certificate, but is also in school pursuing her Masters degree. American English is the preferred dialect that Spain's schools prefer over King's English.
