Answer:
Assuming you are at BCN airport, it takes about half an hour or so to the city. How much? I think I paid about 50€, but out cabbie couldn't find our street...probably less, plus tip, of course. If it's near a Metro stop, you can get there for a little over a Euro. Lots cheaper, more work on your part.
