Well as Majorca is an Island then you would say Im on Majorca but if you say a particular resort such as magaluf then its in magaluf on Majorca. Hope this helps

Great Britain is also an island albeit a bit larger than Mallorca but you wouldn't say you were "on" Great Britain would you so why on earth would you say you were "on" Mallorca?
